Welcome

St John's is a friendly, welcoming and buzzing church for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our building, the Hope Centre, is situated just off Great Horton Road, only a mile up the hill from the University. We're next to Tesco where they have great parking!

We're in the Anglican tradition, an international grouping of Christian churches which in this country is called the Church of England.

St John's meets in two communities which we call 'congregations'. Living Water and Synergy meet for Sunday morning celebrations and midweek small groups ('cells').

Students at St John's

St John's is a great church for students. Most attend the Synergy congregation at 11.15 on Sunday mornings. Students are encouraged to become fully part of our intergenerational church family whilst they are in Bradford and keep the link with us when the leave. There's also an opportunity to do a gap-year internship with the Joshua Project.
