All Ages

Welcoming, Worshipping

and

Witnessing Together

Synergy is one of three congregations that meet at St. John's Great Horton every Sunday at 11-15am and midweek.

Synergy is a lively, informal celebration for all ages with groups for children up to the age of eleven.  Once a month there is an all-age communion.

There are four teaching themes this Spring.  We begin with an Easter theme looking at the accounts of the Resurrection of Jesus in the Gospel of John.  We then look at two topics in the Diocese of Bradford 'Future Faithful' programme - 'Yes to Young People' and 'Church in Community.'  Our third theme is 'Stepping out in Faith' looking at the historical secions of the Old Testament.  Leading up to the summer, we will be looking at 'Jesus People'  from Luke 9 and 10.

On 25 April, there is a United Service at 10.30am with our Synergy congregation to launch our new mission link with Uganda through Tear Fund.  We have a special Pentecost service on 23 May and on 27 June our mission partners with CMS in Egypt, Chris and Angela Chorlton will be joining us.

There is also the opportunity to meet mid-week in small groups called 'Cells'.  These groups normally meet in someone's home, giving an intimate setting to get to know other members of the Synergy congregation has we worship, pray and consider how the Sunday teaching applies to our daily lives. These groups are a great environment to encourage one another in our daily walk with Jesus.
